A new American Job Center is coming to Prince George’s County.

The facility, scheduled to open at National Harbor in January, will aim to offer resources and support to businesses and unemployed locals seeking new positions.

County Executive Angela Alsobrooks said the facility will “provide residents in South County with a resource center for employment opportunities, job readiness training and more.”

The center will be the second in the county. There is an American Job Center in Largo.

The U.S. Department of Labor said American Job Centers “are designed to provide a full range of assistance to job seekers under one roof.”
