Third Suspect Arrested in Decade-Old D.C. Homicide

A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the 2008 murder of a 21-year-old man in Northwest D.C.

Victor Carvajal, 31, of Takoma Park has been chraged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 21-year-old Michael Francis Taylor, of Silver Spring, MD.

On the morning of June 22, 2008, authorities were called to the 600 block of Farragut Street, Northwest. Upon arrival, officers located Francis Taylor suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene. 

On Monday, November 23, 2015,  27-year-old Joshua Massaquoi, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with first-degree murder while armed. On Wednesday, January 24, 2018, 30-year-old Mason Binion was charged with the same crime.
