Seat Pleasant Just Made Health Services More Convenient For At-Risk Residents

Seat Pleasant, Maryland is taking steps to further protect residents from the coronavirus pandemic.

Mayor Eugene Grant joined the Joe Clair Morning Show on Wednesday to explain how the city is implementing a new Telehealth remote patient program with an in-home health monitoring to help those who are at higher risk for COVID-19.

The program will allow community members to download the MiMi-RX app and receive access to doctors as well provide "necessary technology tools for low-income persons that do not have internet or technology hardware access," according to the website.

To enroll in the program, city residents can visit the website or call City Hall at (301) 336-2600.
