WPGC Helps Raise More Than $15K For Go-Go Museum

WPGC brought together go-go legends, activists and go-go lovers to raise funds for the first ever go-go museum.

It went down Wednesday at Metro by T-Mobile located at 7th and Florida Ave. in NW, D.C. 

The Joe Clair Morning Show, Poet's Midday Shenanigans, and DJ Flexx and the Hometeam all broadcasted live from the infamous store, which was at the center of the controversy that sparked the #dontmutedc movement.

By 6 p.m. on Wednesday $13,527 was raised towards the $25,000 goal for the go-go museum in Anacostia.
