Prince George's Co. Fire That Displaced 130 Was Caused by Angry Ex

An apartment fire that displaced over 100 people in Prince George's County was started by a 32-year-old woman who was angry with her ex, Prince George's County Fire officials say.

Natasha Ciara Joyner, from New Carrollton, is charged with arson and various other charges in connection with a fire in a three-story garden style apartment building located at 5334 85th Avenue.

Joyner is accused of setting her boyfriend's bedsheets on fire with a lighter, ABC7's Brad Bell reports. 

It took firefighters nearly two hours to contain the fire, which damaged four apartment buildings and caused an estimated $2.2 million in damages. No injuries were reported on the day of the fire.

Joyner is charged with first degree arson, second degree arson, first degree malicious burning, malicious destruction of poperty (> $1000), and reckless endangerment.
