Hurricane Dorian brought insurmountable damage to The Bahamas.

As the storm ravaged several of the islands, celebrities and other philanthropists have pledged to support the country through humanitarian efforts.

Tyler Perry announced his support in an Instagram post.

To all the incredible people of the Bahamas who have welcomed me and called me an adoptive son, I want you to know that I am watching closely, and as soon as I can, I will be there to do whatever I can to help you rebuild stronger and better. You’re not only in my heart and my prayers, you’re in my blood. God bless you. Stay Bahamas strong. The sun will shine agin. #HurricaneDorian

On Thursday, Perry used his own personal seaplane in Nassau to deliver supplies to Abaco Islands, which was the hardest hit by the disaster, according to TMZ.

The plane carried water, juice, sleeping bags, diapers and even picked up seven children and a pregnant woman who were in need of medical attention.

Since the storm hit the islands, it has claimed seven lives.
