As the reality of coronavirus continues to plunge communities around the world into a new normal, local businesses in the DMV are taking the initiative to look out for one another.

Martha's Table is partnering with several restaurants in the D.C. area including The Hamilton, Old Ebbitt Grill, Knead, Mi Vida, Clydes, The Grill, The Tombs and Succotash to deliver meals to feed individuals and families in need through their program Food It Forward.

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with The @clydes_restaurant Group and @kneadhd to launch Food it Forward, an initiative to support the hard-hit restaurant industry and provide quality food to vulnerable populations in the DMV. Through Food it Forward, the public can purchase delivery meals packaged by local restaurants. The meals will then be distributed to our neighbors in need at Martha’s Table locations. Contributions to Food it Forward allows restaurants to benefit from the continued business and employment of its staff and provide fresh food to the community. Through the program, community members can purchase a meal for one or for an entire family from one of the partnering restaurants and it will be delivered to communities in need by Martha's Table.

The goal of Food It Forward is to support local businesses by keeping restaurant workers employed and provide food to those who need it.

Meals can be donated to an individual or family for one night or for a week.

To provide an individual meal for one night is $13.00 and a family meal that will feed four for one night is $54.00.

Meals for an individual for a week are $91.00 and meals for a family of four for a week are $378.00

All meals include an entree like chicken, brisket, or fish and bottled water, dessert, and cutlery.

If you would like to donate a meal visit the Food It Forward website.
