Arby's is facing some backlash after a mother called them out for a sign stating that only well behaved children were welcome.

The sign read: “Only well behaved Children who can keep their food on their trays and their bottoms on their seats are welcome. If you can’t do this you will be asked to leave. Thanks.” Christina Hemsworth, a mother of three -- including a two-year-old, said she was a  bit concerned by the sign but proceeded to eat with her family at the establishment, according to Fox.

It wasn't until after an employee cursed in front of her and her children that she decided the restaurant was not living up to its own requirement for courtesy.

“I’m not a complainer – I’m really not. The manager could have addressed the message to people individually, not assigned it to the general public," she said.

She then posted a complaint on Facebook, which has now been deleted.

The company has since issued an apology.

“We recognize the language on this sign was insensitive. We removed it quickly, and have disciplined the manager and team working at the restaurant. It does not reflect our company values and the family-friendly environment we aim to provide in all of our restaurants," it said.
