Kyla Pratt began acting at the age of eight. But now, at 31, she's acting in a stage play for the very first time.

In fact, Pratt landed her dream role as Stoney in "Set it Off," which was originally played by none other than Jada Pinkett Smith. Pratt dropped by WPGC on Friday and talked about her first stage play experience and landing the role of a legendary actress with Poet.

When Pratt heard about the opportunity, she knew exactly which role she wanted.

"Growing up and seeing this little lady....watching her and everything that she's done, I've always been like 'oh if I was to play this movie, I would love to be Jada,'"  Pratt said. "So of course with 'Set it Off,' I'm like 'wait... who am I about to play though?'"

Pratt says her first stage play has been an awesome experience, mostly because of the amazing women she's with and the absence of "drama and diva."

“Set it Off” is @kylapratt’s first stage play and she’s enjoying every moment!
