How to Score a Free Lyft Ride to D.C.’s Black History Museums in February

Lyft is celebrating Black History Month with a special promotion.

During the month of February, the ride-hailing service is "providing one free ride up to $10* to Black history museums, memorials, and relevant cultural sites, as well as to Black-owned businesses throughout various communities in which we serve." 

Keep in mind, the Lyft ride must begin or end at one of the participating locations for the promo code to apply.

In Washington, D.C., use the code "BHMDCA19" to score a ride for up to $10 to one of the below museums:  

If you're in Baltimore, you can use the code “BHMBWI19” to visit the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park, the National Great Blacks In Wax Museum, and the Reginald F. Lewis Museum.

"At Lyft, we believe in recognizing, celebrating, and supporting the contributions of incredible Black women and men throughout history and within our communities today," the company said in a statement.
