Annapolis Museum Secures Grant To Preserve African American Artifacts

The Banneker-Douglass Museum in Annapolis secured a $50,000 grant, which will enable it to protect African American artifacts. 

The grant came from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Associated Press reported. 

The museum was created to preserve Maryland’s African American heritage. It includes more than 12,000 objects and archives, according to the report.
