Dan Snyder, the 53-year-old majority owner of the Washington Redskins, is putting his Potomac, Maryland, mansion on the market for $49 million.

The massive estate is modeled after an 18th Century French château, the Wall Street Journal reports, and was constructed with limestone shipped in from France. It stretches across 15.2 acres, according to Sotheby's.

The main house alone has five bedrooms, a sunroom, a gym, a wine cellar, a drawing room, a formal dining room, a library and a restaurant-grade kitchen. And then, of course, there's a two-bedroom guesthouse, a 12-car garage, a swimming pool, and a Redskins-themed basketball court (in burgundy and gold, naturally).

The Snyders aren't moving far, the Wall Street Journal says. They're building another home nearby.

Must be nice!

Snyder's estate has been in the news before.

You might recall how, in 2004, he brokered a deal to cut down more than 130 trees on the hillside between the estate and the C&O Canal – which is federally protected land – in order to clear the view of the Potomac River.
