A man was found alive at the scene of a car crash Monday morning, two days after his family reported him missing in Oxon Hill, NBC Washington reports.

A contractor investigating a damaged guardrail along 210 found 41-year-old Gregory Eubanks lying on the ground, about 100 yards away from the crash scene, the Washington Post reports.

Maryland State Police were called to the northbound lanes of Indian Head Highway around 8 a.m. Monday morning, according to NBC4.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The crew on the scene found the victim who was responsive. The victim said he had been laying at the crash scene since Saturday, ABC7's Brad Bell reports.
