Iyanla Vanzant has no interest in helping R. Kelly fix his life.

The famous life coach and television personality revealed the singer reached out to "Fix My Life" before the explosive Lifetime documentary "Suriviving R. Kelly" was even completed, but he didn't meet the criteria necessary to appear on the hit show.

"Are they willing? Are they ready? Do they have the capacity to do the work?" Iyanla told ABC recently.

She says R. Kelly "didn't have... the emotional capacity. Just didn't have it. And I knew, based on what I was looking at – the paces that I would have to take him through – it would have been brutal."

Yet, Iyanla is not in favor of sending the alleged sex offender to jail: "I would never ever condone, or justify anything that he's been accused of doing," she told ABC.

"But locking him up in jail...it's not the answer...he's sick."
