French Open Bans Serena Williams From Wearing Black Panther-Inspired Catsuit

The GOAT has been disrespected again.

Serena Williams has been banned from wearing her "Black Panther"-inspired catsuit at future French Open tournaments, the Independent reports.

The tennis star wore the outfit when she returned to professional competition after giving birth to her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr.

Williams' choice was "more than just a fashion statement." The Independent reports that "the full-length, skin-tight outfit is designed to protect against blood clots after the American revealed doctors had found a haematoma – a swelling of clotted blood outside of a vessel – in her body following the birth of her daughter."

French Open president Bernard Giudicelli seems determined to uphold a dress code in the future.

"I believe we have sometimes gone too far. Serena’s outfit this year, for example, would no longer be accepted. You have to respect the game and the place," he told Tennis Magazine on the eve of the U.S. Open.

The disrespect!
