Biggie's Son Creates Cannabis Brand to Celebrate His Father's Legacy

Twenty-two years after “Notorious B.I.G.” was killed in a drive-by shooting, his son is launching his own cannabis brand in Biggie’s honor.

CJ Wallace created the brand, called Think BIG, with his stepfather Todd Russaw. It was established as a movement that calls for people “to embrace curiosity and creativity instead of fear in order to create a more compassionate world,” its website says.

The idea for the brand was first discussed when Wallace was done filming “Scream”, he said in an interview with Forbes. Wallace said working with cannabis enabled him to connect with his late dad.

Wallace said he felt connected to the industry because his parents used cannabis when they created new songs.

“In terms of legacy, I’ve always been curious about who Christopher George Latore Wallace really was,” Wallace told Forbes. “...I started to see and understand the things we share: behaviors, mannerisms, temperament. And our love for cannabis.”

Wallace, who anticipates his father would have been surprised by the creative Think BIG brand, said on the company website that it started with his “responsibility to the legacy of his late father.”

The company’s products will be available in select stores and on its website, Forbes reported.
