Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott Dragged for Reportedly Parking in Disability Spot

July 24, 2019

Kylie Jenner is getting into hot water for sharing a romantic photo with boyfriend Travis Scott.

In the snap, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star is cuddled up to the rapper while standing outside their luxury vehicle.

While that appears to be innocent enough, in the background you can see a sign indicating the car is parked in a disability accessible spot, according to People.

Making the situation worse, the 21-year-old captioned the photo: “Partners in crime 4 evaaa.”

While the penalties for parking in a disabled parking space vary from state to state, in California the minimum fine is $250 for the first offense.

Many of the duo’s fans were quick to condemn their behavior.

One wrote: “Parking in a handicapped spot? Really? I hope you got a ticket.”

Another added: “It doesn’t surprise me they are parking in a handicap parking space because she’s a billionaire and thinks she can do anything she wants.”

A third kept it simple by asking: “What is wrong with these people?”

But the Lip Kit maven also got support from some of her over 141 million followers.

Taking her side, one wrote: “We don’t know if they parked or did a drop off in the spot.”

While some may not have taken notice of the disability parking sign as one person commented: “Cute.”

Even some of the couple’s celebrity pals chimed as Sofia Richie sent her warm regards by sharing two heart emojis.

One group that certainly didn’t love the photo was disability inclusion organization The Ruderman Family Foundation.

“Accessible parking is meant for people with disabilities who need it,” the foundation’s president said in a statement. “As a role model to many, this is an opportunity for Kylie Jenner to use her celebrity status to help society understand why accessible parking is a basic right for people with disabilities to be included in daily life.”

Neither Jenner nor Scott have yet to comment on the backlash.
