A woman got into the holiday spirit in a big way when she sang “O Holy Night” at the Union Station Metro on December 3. Now, the video of her impressive and impromptu performance is going viral.
Tymara Walker is a professional singer from Las Vegas, according to the Washington Post, and was touring the District with family when she had the urge to sing.
“The acoustics are great,” Walker told the Post, “and I thought I’d give it a try.”
Walker has sung backup for Gladys Knight and currently serves as an on-call performer for the Michael Jackson ONE Cirque Du Soleil show in Las Vegas.
The video has been watched more than 318,000 times on Facebook.
How’s that for some Christmas cheer?
