Things are looking up for Chris Brown in his custody battle with Nia Guzman, the mother of their child together, Royalty.

In court on Tuesday, Guzman claimed the singer isn’t fit to care for their daughter without strict supervision, and she asked that his contact with her be reduced.

According to TMZ, the judge decided to stick with the existing agreement of joint legal and physical custody. As it stands, Brown sees Royalty 12 days out of the month unsupervised.

He pays Guzman $2,500 a month in child support, and she wants that increased to close to $16,000 a month, though that wasn’t on the table on Tuesday.

On Instagram, Guzman responded to haters accusing her of trying to separate father and daughter, “There is no big victory when it comes to children. I never I REPEAT NEVER wanted or have tried to take our child away! And NEVER WILL.”
