Born and raised in Southeast, D.C., rapper Topdolla Sweizy is the highlight of this week’s DMV Spotlight.  Sweizy, a Spingarn High School graduate, credits his early influence to rap and go-go music to artists like Master P, Cash Money Millionaires, go-go bands TCB and M.O.B.  The D.C. native first joined forces with Yung Chris for the song “Young Girls Clap,” which generated an internet frenzy.  Sweizy opened for Cash Money Money artist Ace Hood and Slip ‘N’ Slide artist Plies at Constitution Hall.  With two mix tapes already released, Sweizy has been working on his latest project, “The Sweizy Life.”
