Big K.R.I.T. has been quietly gearing up to release Cadillactica, hyped to be one of the standout rap albums of the year —  and, a week ahead of its due date, it’s now streaming at NPR.

The guest-heavy album features verses from Wiz KhalifaE-40Lupe FiascoA$AP FergBun BRaphael Saadiq, Jamie N Commons and more, plus production from Rico Love, among others.

Last year when K.R.I.T. started promoting the album, he told XXL that the concept behind it is a “planet called Cadillactica where the soul and the funk comes from and being able to transcend my music with that idea.”

Cadillactica follows up Big K.R.I.T.’s mixtape King Remembered, released last April, which marked the first time the rapper didn’t produce one of his releases entirely on his own — a move that he also made with Cadillactica.
