Robin Thicke‘s musical plea for wife Paula Patton was a flop in the UK.  Not just a flop, but a complete sales failure.

While his last album Blurred Lines sold almost 26,000 copies its first week in the UK, his followup Paula only sold a whopping 530 copies in seven days.  That’s not a typo.  According to statistics, those sales are just 2 percent of his 2013 sales. n With 530 album sales in the UK, it landed him at No. 200 on the Official UK Chart.

To put it in perspective, when Blurred Lines debuted in 2013, it gave Thicke his first No. 1 on Billboard with 177,000 copies sold in the U.S.  Paula came in at 22,988 units.  It landed him at No. 9 on this week’s chart.

The news comes after a few disastrous weeks of promotion including a lackluster performance on the BET Awards and a failed Q&A with VH1’s #AskThicke campaign.
