Continuing his own personal scandalous life, Columbus Short shot a video he reportedly hopes will shows his wife’s violent tendencies.

Tanee Short (née McCall) has filed for divorce from the actor after he allegedly threatened to kill her and held a knife to her throat.  Though, it wasn’t his first run-in with violence.

On February 18, he was arrested for domestic violence and was soon released on bail.  The next day, he invited his friend and singer Tilly Key to his home to pick him up.  Soon after, McCall started an altercation with Key, which Short filmed to, as Key states, stop McCall from beating her.

Nearly three months later, Key released the video to TMZ and addressed the situation to fans on Twitter.

According to Key, she released the video deliberately to show McCall’s violence. She admits she is still in pain from the attack.  Key told TMZ she suffered a concussion, a cervical sprain, multiple contusions, a lumbar sprain and lumbar strain.

Key claims Short began filming to stop McCall (who is the top person in the video) from hitting her and spitting in her face.  When filming started, Short’s soon-to-be ex-wife removed herself from the room, claiming the video saved Key’s life.

The video also shows Short saying “you just saved your own life,” as she walks away from the situation.
