Beyoncé is a cover girl once again, now gracing the cover of Out Magazines May issue, dressed as Marilyn Monroe.

The spread features the “Drunk in Love” singer speaking about critics and the negativity towards her latest album’s over-sexualized lyrics.

Beyoncé spoke openly about double standards between men and women and why she is a feminist.

Out Magazine published a few excerpts of the cover story:

On double standards:

“There is a double standard when it comes to sexuality that still persist. Men are free and women are not. That is crazy. – You can be a businesswoman, a mother, an artist, and a feminist – whatever you want to be – and still be a sexual being. It’s not mutually exclusive”

Her thoughts on her ‘feminist mentality’:

“Being that I am a woman in a male-dominated society, the feminist mentality rang true to me and became a way to personalize that struggle.”

Her thoughts on equality:

“What I’m really referring to, and hoping for, is human rights and equality, not just that between a woman and a man.”

Along with the story is a full photo spread, a slew of free remixes from Beyoncé and a spread on her fashion.  Everything is located on Out‘s webpage here.
