It surfaced today that rapper Young Jeezy turned himself into Atlanta authorities last week on charges of terroristic threats, false imprisonment and battery, following a dispute with his teenaged son in which Jeezy threw him into a glass shower door.

Jeezy was released shortly after on a $45,000 bond.

While the Superior Court of Fulton County’s Intake Unit was not at liberty to discuss the arrest with, a search in their Inmate Database revealed that Jeezy (real name: Jay Jenkins) was arrested Jan. 3 after three Grand Jury Warrants were issued for terroristic threats, false imprisonment and battery.

As police documents explain, after Jeezy threw his son into a shower door, he punched him in the face while saying, “I will put a bullet in your head right now. If I could get away with it, I would kill you.”

According to reports, Jeezy’s son reported the incident, which took place all the way back in September 2012. In the police report, his son states that Jeezy choked him and said, “I will kill you.”
