LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — For football fanatics all over the nation, football is finally back.

While the official kickoff was Thursday, locals are awaiting Monday night, when the Redskins face the Philadelphia Eagles at FedEx Field.

Redskins fans will finally get a chance to see RGIII hit the field in his much-anticipated debut since injuring his knee at the end of last season.

While some may question if Griffin is the saving grace of the franchise, many are confident RGIII will lead them to the promised land.

Local artists Black Boo and Mike Thompson believe in Griffin’s abilities so much they penned “Holy Hail,” a tribute to RGIII set to the tune of Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake’s hit song “Holy Grail.”

The song proclaims this is the year the often-frustrating-team gets the job done.

Kickoff against the Eagles is just after 7 p.m. on Monday.
