Lil Scrappy‘s prayers have been answered. The Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta Star has been released from jail today after being locked up for a probation violation.

Scrappy’s attorney, Mawuli Mel Davis told TMZ that the judge has put Scrappy back on probation and he will be have to check in with his probation officer regularly.

Scrappy was picked up on Monday (October 1) for failing to report to his probation officer and not providing a change of address that was required by law. After he got picked up, there was a message on his Twitter account telling his fans that he was in custody.

Another post from the Atlanta rapper’s management team offered an update.

By Tuesday, Scrappy’s mother Momma Dee went on offense, calling the entire ordeal unfair. While he was on probation for a 2008 marijuana arrest, she broke down the reasons for his recent violation.

“I’m tired of the judicial system doing legalized pimpin’. What’s going on is he failed to change his address,” Momma Dee said. “He broke no [law] as far as committing anything he just been so busy between the show and traveling and touring he forgot to tell them his change of address.”
