[photogallerylink id=113314 align=left]According to CBS, “Florida Judge Jessica Recksiedler, overseeing the George Zimmerman second-degree murder case is expected to step down Wednesday, reports the Sun-Sentinel.”

Recksiedler will be replaced with one of the, “three remaining felony judges in Seminole County.”

CBS has additionally reported:

“In a statement issued by court officials Tuesday, Recksiedler will decide what to do no later than Friday. However, that decision should be made clear Wednesday, when the judge is expected to sign an order taking herself off the case.”

Zimmerman’s defense attorney Mark O’Mara has filed paperwork on Monday asking Recksiedler to “step down from the case as her husband is a partner of attorney Mark NeJame, who is reportedly under contract with CNN to give analysis of this case.”

Because of a possible conflict of interest, Central Florida lawyers have agreed its best for her to step down.

“28-year-old Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder for fatally shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26.”
