Thursday, April 12, 2012, two Virginia men plead guilty to running a prostitution business, WJLA reports. The business entailed recruiting and trafficking HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS.

WJLA has stated that, “Michael Tavon Jefferies, aka ‘Loc,’ 21, of Woodbridge, Va., and Christopher Sylvia, 23, of Springfield, Va., pleaded guilty to sex trafficking of a juvenile.”

Each man will face a “mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years and a maximum penalty of life in prison.”

Jefferies confessed to being a member of the gang, the Underground Gangster Crips (UGC). This gang is known to be involved in the sex trafficking of, “both juveniles and adults from April 2009 through March 2012.”

Authorities have released details about Jefferies saying he was the, “bodyguard for the UGC prostitution enterprise and collected the money received from prostitution, providing a portion to another member of UGC and keeping a portion for himself.”

The gang member has additionally confessed to paying for an advertisement on with the intention of soliciting customers and “paying for hotel rooms for one of the juvenile prostitutes.”

Authorities have further mentioned that the other man involved in the crime, Sylvia, admitted to being a member of the UGC and admitted to aiding the gang, “in transporting juveniles in November 2011 and January 2012 as they engaged in prostitution on behalf of the gang.”
