The gunman who opened fire inside a high school cafeteria at the start of the school day this past Monday, is suspected to be 17-year-old T.J. Lane. Out of the five students he shot, three of them have died…

According to Huffington Post, a prosecutor says suspect T.J. Lane has admitted to taking a “.22-caliber pistol to Chardon High and firing 10 shots at a group of students sitting at a cafeteria table Monday.”

Today, a longtime neighbor of the couple who helped raise the Lane said the weapon used during the shooting may have been the gun that had gone from his grandfather’s barn.

“A judge ordered Lane held for at least 15 days.”

At the court hearing a prosecutor described Lane as “someone who’s not well” and mentioned that the teen didn’t personally know his victims, he chose them randomly.

As for the remaining two students who were shot, one remains hospitalized in serious condition and the other Chardon student was released from the hospital and is home with her family.
