Learn from Nas’ Mistake: …American Concert Promoter, Patrick Allocco is being held in Angola because of a fall out over a cancelled Nas concert. Allocco says Nas has returned most of his fee but still owes $100K.

Allocco reportedly gave Nas along with his opening act $300,000 to perform at a concert in Angola, but Nas and his crew were a no-show. Consequently, the show’s financial backer kidnapped the promoter and his son at gunpoint and interrogated them for hours in a holding cell.

Although the Allocco’s are now staying in a hotel in the capital city of Luanda, thanks to the United States Embassy, there is a hold on their passports and cannot return home.

The United States Embassy and New Jersey congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen’s (R-11th Dist.) have assured that they will continue negotiating for Allocco’s release.
