Free MP3 Of The Day: “It’s Alright,” Saigon featuring Marsha Ambrosius

Produced by Kanye West and Just Blaze, “It’s Alright” is a hip-hop duet featuring the sultry R&B vocals of former Floetry songstress Marsha Ambrosius.
Underground in spirit – but polished; wordy as a notebook and jammed with explosive hip-hop beats, Saigon’s “It’s Alright” also features a sample cut from Luther Vandross‘s classic hit “Superstar/Until You Come Back to Me,” setting a nice tone for his solo LP.
Before the popular HBO show Entourage (Season 2) boosted his musical career, Saigon made a name for himself with his slew of mixtapes and shows; including a recent performance for X Games in Los Angeles. He recently signed with Just Blaze (notable for producing songs for Jay-Z, Eminem and T.I. ) and is also the mastermind behind Saigon’s long-awaited debut album The Greatest Story Never Told.
Featuring some of the biggest names in urban music including Jay-Z, Q-Tip, Faith Evans, Black Thought, Raheem DeVaughn and Swizz Beats, the artist/production swagger and the tight flows found on Saigon’s solo LP is destined to be a rap classic.
The Greatest Story Never Told is available now through Suburban Noize Records.
