Before coming to powerhouse WPGC 95.5, Sunni graced the airways on Power 96 in Miami, FM 98 WJLB and Channel 95.5 in Detroit.

As a Bosnian native, Sunni and her family lived in three refugee camps in Croatia before being transported to the United States in 1997. It was a huge culture shock for Sunni and her family, but she adapted quickly and learned to speak English in 6 months.

She began her career in radio at the age of 18 and became the youngest radio personality in the Detroit market. She’s also the first woman from her native country to host her own radio show in the U.S.

Interviewing celebrities, hosting parties/concerts, and attending fabulous events is just another day in the life of a radio host, but what Sunni enjoys the most and is known for, is her charity work. She’s been involved with numerous charities such as The Special Olympics, Covenant House Homeless Shelter, Safe Shores DC, UNICEF, Knock Out Abuse, Becky’s Fund & more.

As someone with a huge audience, platform and a voice, Sunni believes that it’s her duty to give back, volunteer, and inspire others to do as much charity work as possible.

To add to her many brand endorsements.. Sunni has joined the Diageo Family and Ciroc Vodka as a VIP Influencer for DC/MD/VA.

Sunni has made it pretty clear that she’s loving the DMV area and is looking forward to making it her home for many more years to come.

Living by: If you’re not poor enough to receive charity, then you’re rich enough to give it.
